I was thinking the same thing--looks like nice weather for the Pacific NW in Feb.
I lived in Portland, OR for 3 years (after being raised in TX as well). I agree that it's such a beautiful area. I would move back in a heartbeat. In spite of all the rain, those sunny breaks were the best.

The last few days here in NC have been very cold. We actually had a few SNOW flakes this morning, You know us Southerns we all ran to Walmart for milk and bread!

Loved your pictures. It's so nice to see flowers again. I'm getting fed up with all the snow already - I'm so ready for spring.
Last Tuesday it snowed in the morning and then at lunchtime the temperatures got warmer in the eastern parts of Austria and quite a lot of it melted. Now it started snowing again. In the western parts of Austria (especially the provinces of Salzburg and Upper Austria) and Bavaria too, it's totally chaotic as they are still getting tons of snow and people/fire fighters/soldiers are busy trying to get the snow off roofs before more collapse. They had to evacuate an elementary school in Upper Austria before the roof collapsed - luckily no one got injured. You see pictures where they have more 40 inches of snow on the roofs. If it should suddenly get warmer and all that snow starts melting quickly, the next thing to worry about will be flooding.
How beautiful!: Both the dollie and the weather. Addy does look so regal and dignified! I love that Flower Picking outfit! It is a definite must have! I am surprised you did not make it! HA!

BTW I saw where someone in your album guestbook asked about her hair. I do not think that was anyone from HB. I get so tired of people thinking or acting like her hair is "some freak of nature" LORDEE ME!.She is a beautiful dollie! I mean..like...are AA people not supposed to have long beautiful hair...SHEESH!
How pretty! This album made me want to get an Addy ;D. And miss Washington. CA is pretty too, right now, but too darn hot for my liking. It was eighty the other day, and I thought I would about die. Eighty degrees in FEBRUARY? My BF, who's from Texas loved it. Apparently, to him, it's only "hot" when it passes 110. I can only shudder to think. Give me a nice 75 degree summer any day of the week.
P.S. When I lived in WA, whenever it rained I just told myself, "I'm getting my daily facial!"
P.P.S. If you get the rainy day blues, try going outside even though it's cloudy. A lot of non-native Washingtonians get SADs because they only go out when it's sunny and therefore don't get their healthy, happy, dose of natural sunlight. Most people just aren't used to being outside in the rain. Some people buy those natural-light lamps, but spending ten-fifteen minutes outside even if it's cloudy helps you feel better.
